September 3, 2018 - Mission week 61: I made a big stick.

Thats a true fact.

I went on exchanges to Mokopane with Elder Platt, we had a lot of fun, taught a lot of people, but as we were leaving we locked the keys in the flat, so we boyscouted a stick with our ties and brooms and we solved the problem.

Wednesday, we did a LOT of finding, probably contacted around 20 or 30 people, since everyone canceled. We also saw Seja again, who is progressing very well, and really liked the plan of salvation.

Thursday, was just a mess of running erreneds for the Mission president

Friday, had some pretty good lessons as well. Sarah, a long time investigator, is actually reading the Book of Mormon Daily now, so hopefully she can get her answers soon

Saturday, was a missionary work fireside in Sesego, that went very well. Good talks given by the Sesego missionaries as well as Return Missionaries in the Branch. There was a game of Scripture JEPRODY that everyone loved.

Sunday, no one came to church, and we taught young men about Commandments and Exaltation, then had lunch with Sis. Mimi and the YSA and played Mafia and talked about the major importance of Joseph Smith.

This Morning President came for Interviews.

But yeah, don't really have a ton to say this week either. Only 10 months left. the downhill is really speeding up.

something really cool I read in a New Testiment Study guide was about the Scars in Jesus's Hands and feet. It shows that even the Rightous get hurt, scars (both physical, and emotional) are signs we have suffered but survived/ overcome. It is the Wounded Christ who comes to us, he has been hurt but he has overcome, he knows our pain and sorrow. He will help.

But with that in mind
  • Happy Birthday to Mark and to Grandma Wilson
  • The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, not Mormons
  • The Weather felt and smelt like home
  • D&C 84:54 needs to be read more often
  • I was Tormented by hiccups this week
  • Exhanges are fun if they are
  • Talking to everyone adds to the 'peculiarity' of we people
  • Dont get tuberculosis.
  • The lady cutting my hair was confused when I asked her to thin it since "thick haired people get more action"
  • From the Dust is such a cool term
  • Giant FLYING cockroaches
  • "Do you like working here?" "no."
Hope you all enjoy your week.
kthanksbye
