September 24, 2018 - MIssion week 64: Botswana is still hot

SO yeah, I'm back in this place, but things are much better this time around. Elder Wilson and I are having a great time. And he just made history by being the first missionary to get a 1 year visa for Botswana!

but that whole process took pretty much our whole week, we were in and out of Gaborone or stuck in traffic pretty much the whole time. We met a few on the members namely Sis. Moremong, who owns a street resturaunt thing, who we get a luch big enough for the whole day from for 20 pula ($2), as well as Ditlamelos Family, and Bro Thero. The Bishop of Molepolole is a funny funny guy. We were at a big cultural Celebratoin thing on Saturday, that was way fun. lots of singing and dancing, got lots of Video. Saw P. Manganela again. Missed that guy from Broadhurst. No one else I knew was there. Back around Elder Ludloff Again. That guys a ton of fun.

I'm driving a 2017 Ford Ranger. Figured that would make my dad Jellous. its such a smooth ride, even on these nightmare roads. Traffic around here is aweful though. So a big Bakkie like that is pretty good for forcing your way in.

Don't really have a lot to say other that we are having fun doing work, and eating vetkoek (fatcakes aka Scones aka Megyena aka legwenya)

Enjoy your week
  • "that would be a way to die. Choking on a fatcake while drinking lumpy water"
  • Knowing: a head vs Heart Battle
  • Love and respect for self helps us love others Matt 22:39
  • The inescapable hymn 163
  • Back to the different mission
  • becoming an "Old missionary" is weird
Thank you all
have fun living
kthanksbye
